Five ways to train with Down Range

Courses run for complete beginners through to permit holders who just want more time on the line. No experience is necessary — training is tailored to your skill level.

CCW and HQL Class

The complete starting point for anyone pursuing a carry permit or a Handgun Qualification License. A foundational course covering firearm handling and safety protocols, so you finish knowing how to load, carry, store and shoot a handgun correctly.

CCW Renewal

For people who already hold a carry permit and need to keep it current. Call before you book and we will confirm exactly what your renewal requires so you turn up with the right paperwork.

Children Firearm Safety and Fundamental

Firearm safety and the fundamentals for young people. What a firearm is, what to do if they ever come across one, and how to behave responsibly around them — taught calmly, at their pace.

Countering Mass Shooter Threat

Learn how to counter a mass shooter threat. For people who want to know how to read a situation, make decisions early and act rather than freeze. Call for pricing and the next available session.

Education available to improve your firearm skills, in half-hour training sessions. $50 with your own firearm and ammo, $75 using my firearm and ammo. Book as many as you like — skill is a habit, not an event.

Bring your own firearm and ammunition, or train using mine — range training is $50 with your own, $75 using mine.

No experience is necessary. Courses are offered for all levels and tailored to individual skill levels.
